FAQs

All APMEA South employees are invited to attend SouthBeatsIt’s designed for anyone who wants to better understand how we’re approaching growth, leadership, and talent at BAT. People leaders managing G34+ teams have additional sessions built specifically to support their role in spotting potentials and driving fair and effective talent decisions.
Because from 1st September 2025, all G34+ employees across APMEA South will go through a mandatory potential assessment and talent segmentation process. The responsibility for evaluating and segmenting this group sits with their People Leaders — which is why we’ve designed special sessions to support them. These sessions will provide clarity on the process, practical tools to spot potential fairly, and guidance to make talent decisions that are aligned with our refreshed talent model.
SouthBeats is a fully digital event hosted in our South Metaverse—powered by the vFairs platform. After the success of SkillsFest last year, this is our second time bringing APMEA South together in an immersive virtual space designed for learning, connection, and engagement.
You can join from anywhere with internet access—no travel required. For a more social experience, optional in-person office hubs in select locations will also be available to broadcast select sessions.
The event features multiple tracks, and you’ll only see the sessions that apply to you when you log in. People leaders managing G34+ teams will have access to additional leadership tracks tailored to their role—these will be visible only to them within the platform.
Yes! While the event is fully virtual, optional office hubs will be set up in some locations for those who prefer a shared experience.
Details on local hubs will be included in the event invite, and each office will have a SPOC to help coordinate. You can still join from anywhere with internet—it's totally up to you.
No registration needed—all employees are automatically in. We just ask that you show up ready to engage, reflect, and take the next step toward becoming a Better You.
Once the event doors open, you can log in using your email address and the password: SouthBeats2025. If you'd like to change your password, just click on "Forgot/Reset Password" during login, and you'll receive an email with a link to set a new one.
You’re welcome to invite colleagues—as long as they’re part of the APMEA South team. Access to SouthBeats is managed through an internal registration process, so only employees officially registered under South will be able to join the platform.
